Enrolment Information . . . ​

We welcome all prospectus students to St John's College. Please download an enrolment from below. Once completed please return to the office at St John's College. New Zealand law requires we demonstrate a preference with 95% of our roll having a connection to the Catholic Church. If your son has a connection to the Catholic Church, please download the preference form below and return it to the office at St John's College.

There are scholarships available for attending St John's College. Please enquire about them at the School office. If you have any question or queries about enrolment at St John's College please be in touch.

YEAR 9 SCHOLARSHIPS 

We have a number of Scholarships available for students.  Below  is the paperwork to be completed for the Scholarships.  
  • Principal’s Year 9 Scholarships - There are a number of Principal’s Scholarships available.
  • Smith Family Scholarship - $2000 Excellence in Academia, Sport, extra curricular
  • Peter Arthur Scholarship - 3 Scholarships $850 each, 2 Scholarships $1000 each.
  • St John’s College PFA Scholarship - $750
  • St John’s College Old Boys’ Scholarship - $750
  • Hibernian Society (St Joseph’s Branch) Scholarship - $850
  • Hastings Area St Vincent de Paul Scholarship - $750
  • Napier Area St Vincent de Paul Scholarship - $750
  • Hastings Rugby & Sports Club - $650 Year 9 Student must play for Hastings Rugby and Sports Rugby Club
  • Napier Old Boys’ Marist Rugby Club - $750 Year 9 Student must play for Napier Old Boys’ Marist Rugby Club
  • Year 9 Academic Scholarships - $750 We have 3 Academic Scholarships. Students sit two exams – Mathematics and English. Examination Date:  Monday 29th August at 4pm  ​​Download File
