St John's College -  Digital Technology . . .

Digital Technology and Computing has recently made big strides at St John’s and will continue to grow in the future. Students have the opportunity to learn skills in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and Access. Computer programming is available in the drag and drop language of Scratch and the text based language of Python. 3-D modelling is offered using the Sculptris package and some of these models will be printed on the 3D printer. Webpage development is also available using html 5 and css 3. The school now has four Ev3 robots and the students can build, program and battle against other robots. An annual Robocup has now begun.
