A really good place to start when looking for a University is this website: http://www.universitiesnz.ac.nz/new-zealand-students
It gives a comprehensive overview of the Universities in NZ and the websites for each. It is a good idea to go to your University of choice Website and check ‘Important dates” This will indicate to your son when his applications for accommodation and entry in courses are due and when scholarships are open for application.
