Enrolment at St John’s College for 2012
We are currently accepting enrolments for Year 9 students for the 2012 school year.
How to Enroll
To enroll your son, simply fill in and sign the pre-enrolment form, which you can download from the resources file at the bottom of this page. Drop the completed form into the College Office or post it to: St John’s College, P O Box 14008, Mayfair, Hastings or email to admin@stjohns.school.nz we will be in touch with you within three weeks to arrange an interview for you and your son with our Principal Mr. Neal Swindells. It is important that non-preference students enroll as soon as possible.
Preference of Enrolment
Under the Integration Act 95% of our students must be Catholic or have a clear Catholic connection. This is called preference. If your son does not currently attend a Catholic school and you are Catholics, please get the preference form filled in and signed by a Catholic Priest. If your son currently attends a Catholic school, you do not need to get this form completed.
If you are non-Catholics simply tick the non-preference box on the pre-enrolment form
Open Day
Our annual Open Day will be held on Sunday 7th August 2011 at 2pm. Any prospective students and their families are very welcome to come and have a look around our facilities on that day. We will visit St Patrick’s School in Napier, St Josephs School in Hastings and St Mary’s School in Hastings for enrolment interviews with families after our Open Day.
